The University of Wisconsin-Superior fosters intellectual growth and career preparation within a public liberal arts tradition. Founded in 1893 as a teacher’s college, it has grown to a student population of 2,900 with undergraduate, graduate and distance learning programs. The university embraces its size for the personal attention and opportunities for active learning it can provide to students.
