The Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) is Wisconsin’s only four-year, private college of visual art and design. Our mission is to offer programs that provide intensive, structured and sequential course content in the concepts and skills that are fundamental to the visual arts. MIAD provides an education in the visual arts, distinguished by its emphasis on assured competence in particular fields.
