According to the school, Jefferson College of Health Sciences is part of an academic medical center including Carilion Clinic and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Resources include access to integrated medical libraries for all facilities.\r\n\r\nJCHS students receive preferential placement in clinical sites within the Carilion network of facilities. JCHS also has access to educational seminars broadcast live by American Hospital Association, Hospital Satellite network, and other networks. It is one of 50 demonstration centers nationwide for interactive video in nursing education.\r\n
