East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania is devoted to providing quality programs in traditional and emerging fields of study, recognizing and promoting human and intellectual diversity while preparing graduates to enter a complex global society. Known internationally for strengths in science and technology, ESU offered the nation’s first undergraduate degrees in Computer Security and Industrial Physics and is breaking ground in 2006 for a multi-million dollar state-of-the-art science and technology center. ESU supports a Center for Research and Economic Development to enhance the community’s business climate. The university’s Business Accelerator allows students, faculty and entrepreneurs to cooperatively develop enterprising new start-up businesses.
