According to the school, Davis and Elkins College is located in the Potomac Highlands of the Appalachian Mountains and offers a quality education in a close-knit community filled with unique opportunities for leadership development and personal discovery, such as its three-week Winter Term experience. It offers baccalaureate and associate degrees in over 30 programs, from Business to Theatre, Environmental Science to Criminology, Nursing to Hospitality and Recreation Management. The student/faculty ratio is 13:1. Affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA), Davis and Elkins features an Honors Program as well as a Supported Learning Program for students with learning disabilities. It competes in 12 NCAA (Division II) sports and USCSA downhill skiing.
