For almost a century, Youngstown State University has prepared its graduates to become leaders in the region, the state, and the nation. YSU offers a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programs, including accounting, music, chemistry, engineering, and a six-year B.S./M.D. program through the Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine. The University Scholars program provides full scholarships and a new honors residence to high achieving students. Students at YSU have the advantage of small class size, a highly accessible and expert faculty, the use of high-end research equipment and up-to-date technology, and a campus atmosphere that encourages rewarding involvement in a wide range of student activities.
