According to William Jessup University, the Public Policy Degree Program provides a rigorous curriculum that includes multidisciplinary courses, concentrations in key public sector fields, expert seminars/forums, and internships with public institutions. Students learn from leading experts and policymakers about critical policy issues and effective policy-making on the local, state, national, and international levels. Students learn to analyze issues, develop solutions, and implement sound public policy.\r\n\r\nRecognizing the strategic role of the youth minister in the spiritual development of young people (middle school, high school and college), William Jessup University offers a major in Youth Ministry. The vision of the Youth Ministry program is to reach the next generation by preparing students to evangelize and disciple youth and their families. The mission of the youth ministry program is to creatively prepare students to be dynamic leaders and facilitators that inspire youth to the Christian life.\r\n\r\nFor those who are looking to pursue a career in Teacher Education, we invite you to consider acquiring a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies, with a Preliminary California Multiple Subject Credential. Currently the Teacher Education Department at William Jessup University offers three pathways leading to careers in public, private and charter school systems. It is the goal of the Education Department to prepare teachers in both personal character development and the development of the students in the classroom. For this reason our education department is referred to as Credentials with Character.
