University of Central Missouri
In 1996, the University of Central Missouri was designated Missouris lead institution for professional technology, an area long recognized as one of the universitys greatest strengths. Through this mission, Central integrates the latest technologies into every level of its comprehensive liberal arts curriculum, whether a student majors in computer information systems, biology or music. The university is also a leader in discipline-specific accreditation within Missouri higher education and several Central programs are nationally or internationally known. Students have many opportunities to broaden their horizons intellectually, culturally and socially. UCM has it’s own airport and one of the few Master of Science in Aviation degree programs in the nation.
