Quest for Success, a First Year program, aquaints the new student with the local community through service projects in their first semester. 4+1 MBA with Union University 4+1 MBA with Clarkson University 3+3 JD with New York Law School 1 year MA in Occupational Therapy with Sage Graduate Schools SVC’s Entrepreneurship and Management (Build the Enterprise) program offers students the chance to learn by doing: to apply the concepts learned in their study of the marketplace by creating and running a business of their own. It is one of several new academic initiatives designed to animate classroom instruction with real life experiences. The Success Center, a federally supported Student Support Services Program, is the primary office of academic support at SVC. The Success Center Tutorial Program provides free tutoring for all students who request assistance. Southern Vermont College is committed to serving all academically qualified students, regardless of disability. SVC offers a strong program of support for students who provide documentation of their learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, vision/hearing impairment, or other disabilities. The Learning Differences Support Staff provide regularly scheduled tutorial support sessions to assist with course work, writing assignments, organization/time management, and study strategies. Extended time for exams is also available. There is no additional fee for participation in the Learning Differences Support Program.
