St. Cloud State University’s 16,000 students share a 137-year heritage of excellence and opportunity at our campus on the Mississippi River. Our first students came from neighboring farms and towns to learn how to teach Minnesota schoolchildren. Today’s students come from every part of the state, the country, and 92 countries of the world to prepare to excel in business, communication, health care, social services, and a wide array of fields -ncluding the education of Minnesota schoolchildren. \r\n\r\nIn an environment that values global education, civic engagement and critical thinking along with career preparation, SCSU is a comprehensive university offering 175 undergraduate and graduate programs of study.
