Mid-America Christian University
Oklahoma
Mid-America Christian University offers a unique community aspect unlike any other school. Programs, such as small groups, are offered to help build a community feel and provide opportunities for students to grow and help others grow. The school has a unique Pastoral Care Program in which students get hands on training on how to provide pastoral care. Students visit patients in a local hospital, providing care to those patients while improving their own caring skills. Another great quality offered through the Education Department is the hands on training students receive. Not only are students well equipped to go into teaching as a profession once they graduate, but they will have also finished all of the state and national testing required to begin teaching immediately after graduation.
Accreditation
Mid-America Christian University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission.
