According to the school, Knox College’s mission reaffirms the continuing fundamental value of liberal education as preparation for life, for personal success, and for collective civic welfare. Students shape their educational paths in ways that help them achieve personal and career goals. 39 majors and 53 minors are strengthened by the development of competencies in writing, oral presentation, quantitative literacy, information literacy, a second language, and understanding diversity.
